Dr. Shobha Chawla is working as an associate professor at BCIIT. She has over 11 years of experience as a researcher and teacher. She has obtained her master's degree in computer science from MDU, Rohtak, and her doctorate (Ph.D., Comp. App.) from Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad. Additionally, she has qualified for UGC (NET-JRF), SET (Rajasthan), and GATE. She has six research papers to her credit in the fields of cloud computing and cryptography that have been published in Scopus-indexed journals, UGC-care approved journals, and IEEE conference proceedings. In addition, she has also presented a few research papers at international and national conferences. Her research interests are in the fields of cloud computing, cryptography, and machine learning. She has taught DBMS, Data Structures, Operating System, Software Engineering, C, C++, Java etc. at the post-graduate and under-graduate levels.
